Records Analysis Support

At the opportunity of an aircraft purchase, handover or survey, we can propose the following analysis and/or recovery/collection of the following aircraft technical records, but not limited to:

  • Aircraft Specification Sheet
All general information on the Airframe, Landing gears, Engines, APU and Avionics can be filled in at the beginning of the inspection with the operator. This document can be checked and updated during the inspection.
  • Aircraft/Engines/APU Log books
The log books can be checked for correct fill in.
  • Aircraft Technical log book
The latest Aircraft technical log books can be checked in order to analyse if major problems occurred during the recent Aircraft operation.
  • Maintenance Program status
    • The copy of Operator Maintenance Program can be checked against the Manufacturer MPD in order to highlight if any checks or tasks interval escalation have been obtained by the operator from its Airworthiness authority.
    • A checks history can be provided with last performed data of all checks performed since the first delivery.
    • An analysis of the maintenance status can be done in order to determine if any deviation occurred during the maintenance of the Aircraft.
    • If the tasks references are different from the Manufacturer MPD task numbers, a cross reference list can be provided in order to allow the Maintenance analysis.
    • The sampling program (if applicable) can be checked.
  • Airframe/Engines/Appliances Airworthiness Directives
AD status can be cross checked with the sign-off papers (Dirty Finger Prints). The status of the ADs, last performed, interval, revisions of Vendor SB, SB and AOT performed and next due can be checked. If findings are found, the rectifications can be checked.
  • Radio-Navigation equipment’s
    • A list of radio-Navigation equipment’s can be produced and each fitted equipment certificate can be checked.
    • The Radio station License, the compass swing report and the RVSM report can be recovered.
  • Weighing Report
The weighing report with the full configuration and inventory list can be recovered.
  • Time Controlled Components
All equipment’s concerned by time-controlled tasks in the Airline Maintenance Program or in Manufacturer MPD can be checked, task number, description, P/N, S/N, Position, Last perform, Interval, Next Due and the life limit (if applicable). For each item the Release Certificate can be checked.
  • Airframe (Landing Gears, engine mounts, etc…) Life limited Parts
The shop reports, Life limited parts status, full back to birth traceability, folio 12, Removal/Installation history, Movement Traceability Sheets, AD compliance list can be checked and recovered.
  • Engines and APU Life limited Parts
The shop reports, Life limited parts status, full back to birth traceability, Movement Traceability Sheets, AD compliance list, trend Monitoring, Removal/Installation history, Engine oil consumption and Analysis, Engine Data Submittal, Complete bore-scope inspection report, QEC/accessory list with supporting paperwork required for any replacement, can be checked and recovered.
  • Structural Repairs and Alterations
Repair status, repair mapping, Internal and External repair files can be checked for correct SRM rectification or RAS/8110-3 approval.
  • Aircraft configuration
    • A list of SB & VSB performed since the first delivery can be required, revision number, and accomplishment date can be checked.
    • The In-house modifications or STC’s and their approvals can be checked and recovered.
    • A cabin layout drawing, the emergency equipment location drawing, the loose equipment list, the flammability test reports can be checked and recovered.
    • The ETOPS A/C, Engines, APU configuration Status and P/N, S/N list with the sign-off papers and certificates can be checked and recovered.
    • The list of equipment’s fitted on A/C and the forms can be checked and recovered.
    • The FAA-PMA parts can be highlighted.
  • Miscellaneous
The following miscellaneous documents can be checked and recovered: ELA, Reliability report, Records Inventory list, DFDR read-out, Hydraulic analysis, Fuel Analysis, Cockpit door code statement, etc…

Maintenance Planning Support

Upon customer request, we can perform:

  • A scheduled maintenance bridging between two different Operator Maintenance Programs.
  • A Maintenance Program analysis in order to identify the equivalent tasks with latest issue of the Manufacturer Maintenance Program and/or an Operator’s Maintenance Program.
  • A list of equivalent tasks with the Operator Maintenance Program intervals, last performed and next due dates, flight hours or flight cycles.
  • Identify if any Operator Maintenance Program deviation occurred during the maintenance of the Aircraft.

Work-scope Elaboration Support

Soon after an aircraft technical records analysis highlighting the items concerning the Airframe, APU and Engines to be inserted in a work-scope, we can issue:

  • A Maintenance check Work-scope (A, C, Structure).
  • A Storage/De-storage Work-scope (FRC 2weeks/12weeks, 6 months, 2 years).
  • A Flight Permit Work-scope, describing the minimum tasks to perform a flight.
  • A special Work-scope to cover any special task or request.

We can also propose to our customers:

  • The review of any Work-scope to verify that all requirements have been taken into account. Once internally checked and validated, an issue will be sent to our customer for review and approval.
  • The update of a Work-scope during C Check or working party to include additional tasks like those generated by evolution of airworthiness requirements, manufacturers recommendations and tasks not known at time of initial issue, coming from the significant findings during the C Check or Working Party performance.

Digital Records

Upon customer request, we can arrange, by using a dedicated subcontractor, the creation of a DVD or CD ROM with the complete or a selected part of Aircraft technical records scanned in electronic format. The goal is to preserve and keep them sorted out for an efficient retrieval and to facilitate any presentation to potential customers or Airworthiness Authorities. On-line access for such digital records may also be considered as the need arises.

An Electronic Records data structure can be determined for classification, organization, indexation, protection and a creation of shortcuts or hyperlinks from index to section can be available.
